An sustainable design project aimed at promoting engagement in and knowledge about ecological, social and economic sustainability through design. The project was in collaboration with Miljönbron, Bostadsbolaget and Göteborgs Stad.
The purpose of the project was to redevelop an unused site in a run-down part of the city into a place that promotes circular economy (swapping, loaning, up-cycling) and recycling among local residents. The aim of the venue was also to promote social sustainability in the local area by providing a meeting place for conversation, creativity and cooperation.
I was part of the team designing the interior and furniture, make from recycled and up-cylced materials, used in innovative ways to inspire re-design and up-cycling.
